To Faculty of Medicine, Public Health and Nursing UGM Scholarship selection committee,

I am writing this recommendation letter on behalf of Amanda Kristiani Matondang, a student of Senior High School 3 Bandung who is applying for Faculty of Medicine, Public Health and Nursing UGM Scholarship Program. I have become very familiar with Amanda during the past three years as her homeroom teacher.

As a student, Amanda is an outstanding girl with an exceptional drive, very good social skills and a very strong commitment towards learning everything that is relevant to her field. She has more than on one occasion shown outstanding initiative and creativity in terms of problem solving. During at school, she has a lot of activities out of class such as in the Christian Community, KPA3, and Vocal Group. But despite her many activities, Amanda is a smart and discipline student. She does her tasks, hands in on time, and got good grades. Based on Amanda's grades, attendance, and class participation, I'd rate Amanda's academic performance as superior. I was also very impressed by the way she worked with her classmates. Amanda got along well with everyone. She is both caring, respectful, and patient. She always offers to help and she would help her friends who are need it.

She has told me that she wants to continue her study in Faculty of Medicine, Public Health and Nursing UGM to achieve her dream as a doctor, to help other people, make her parents proud, and spend her life being a useful human being.

Her hard work and effort will get her very far in life and there is no doubt in my mind that she will succeed. She is very deserving of this scholarship.

My Goals, My Ambitions          Every person must have a set of life goals to achieve in their lifetime, as well as I. Goals are a part of everyone's life. Everyone has their own goals. For me, my life goals are to be a useful human being and make my parents proud. I may still not find my passions or talents, but I have the ambition to find it all. Right now, I'm looking for what I want to do, what I want to be, and what I need in the future. The reason why I think that I don't have any passions or talents is because so far I just do things according to the flow without getting into anything. Film Review "Nico's Weg"

  Nico's Weg         Nico's Weg is a simple film by DW Learn German for German learners. This film is a story about a 22 years old man from Spain named Nico who came to Germany to meet his aunt, Yara. But when Nico arrives in Germany, he loses his bag, including his passport, phone, and Yara's address. Nico's also still not fluent in German. Luckily, he met Lisa and her niece, Emma. They helped Nico to find his bag. But it was not that easy. While waiting for his bag to be found, Nico got to know a lot of nice people around Lisa who help him out, and learns German along the way.
